During her time as a Surgical ICU Nurse, Jaenelle gained invaluable experience and honed her skills in critical care. She provided exceptional care to patients in critical condition, demonstrating her commitment to ensuring their well-being.
Driven by her desire to expand her knowledge and expertise, Jaenelle pursued higher education and went on to complete her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This advanced degree equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare systems, advanced nursing practices, and research methodologies.
Throughout her academic journey, Jaenelle developed a keen interest in pain management, particularly in the context of trauma and orthopedic surgery. Her rotations in these specialized areas exposed her to the challenges faced by patients dealing with acute and chronic pain. Inspired by the need for effective pain management strategies, Jaenelle dedicated herself to researching and implementing innovative approaches that improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
