Daniel Drag, FNP-C
With a robust background in the medical field, Daniel began his journey as a medical ICU nurse in 2017 at a Level 1 Trauma Center. Over the years, he honed his expertise by performing various procedures and providing compassionate care to critically ill patients. His exceptional skills and dedication led him to take on additional responsibilities, including coordinating patient care with other healthcare providers, and ensuring comprehensive and effective treatment plans. He also has numerous years of experience in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit at various hospitals throughout the Chicagoland area, which is where his passion for pain management grew.
Transitioning to a specialized role at MAPS, Daniel found his niche in peripheral joint injections and the evaluation of chronic pain patients, as well as those involved in personal and work-related injuries. His expertise in these areas allows him to deliver targeted and personalized care, helping patients manage their pain and regain functionality in their daily lives.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Daniel is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys activities such as snowboarding, golf, and traveling with his family. These hobbies not only provide him with a well-deserved break from his demanding career but also reflect his adventurous spirit and zest for life.
With a combination of clinical expertise, compassion, and a love for adventure, Daniel continues to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare field, striving to improve the well-being of his patients and inspire others in his community.
